FSS and FTS merge as FAS Print

GSA’s Federal Supply Service (FSS), Agency Code 4730, and the Federal Technology Service, Agency Code 4735 have combined and are now the Federal Acquisition Service with an Agency Code of 4732. In order to be able to create new actions using Agency Code 4732 a realignment had to be completed in FPDSNG that allowed the previous users of 4730 and 4735 to now have all of the privileges under 4732 they had before.

A new National Interest Action value ‘Pacific Earthquake/Tsunami 2011’ has been added to track the relief contracts.

For Web Portal users the value ‘Pacific Earthquake/Tsunami 2011’ is available for selection in the National Interest Action field dropdown. The Contract Writing systems using V1.4 shall use the code ‘Q11J’ when creating/updating documents through Business Services.

National Interest Action value ‘Pacific Earthquake/Tsunami 2011’ is valid from 03/11/2011 to 09/12/2011.

TAS Update Schedule Print

We receive the Treasury Account Symbols (TAS) XML file every Friday at 10:00 PM EST. The received file will be processed on Sunday and the updated Treasury Account symbols will be available for use on Monday at 9:00 AM.

V 1.3 Deprecation Print

NOTICE: FPDS-NG Version 1.3 has been deprecated as of December 31,2010.


Departments/Agencies using COTS/GOTS Contract Writing Systems integrated with FPDS-NG Version 1.3 must upgrade their systems to integrate with FPDS-NG Version 1.4.


Please contact the Federal Service Desk at 866-606-8220 or www.fsd.gov for further details regarding FPDS-NG Version 1.4 certification process.
