FAR Case 2024-001, "Inflation Adjustment of Acquisition-Related Thresholds," has increased the threshold values that are hard-coded in FPDS. Although these threshold changes became effective on October 1, 2025, FPDS has not yet been updated to reflect the new thresholds due to the ongoing lapse in federal funding (Federal Government Shutdown).

Contracting Officers are advised to be cognizant of the updated threshold and to incorporate new requirements in accordance with their agency's policy.
