Bio-Preferred Public ATOM Feed The System for Award Management (SAM) has requested for a custom Bio-Preferred Public ATOM Feed, which could be searched by “Base Date Signed” as equal to or later than 05-18-2012 to get the finalized FPDS-NG actions. Following are the high level functional requirements for the new ATOM Feed:

1. The Bio-Preferred Public ATOM Feed shall offer an optional searchable element “Base Date Signed” in the URL. This element can be used in combination with other searchable data elements.

The "Base Date Signed" corresponds to the “Date Signed” on the base (modification number = 0) document for all actions.

2. The format for “Base Date Signed” shall be [YYYY/MM/DD,YYYY/MM/DD]. Either a range of dates or a single date can be provided. Data shall be retrieved only when this date is equal to or later than 05-18-2012.

3. This ATOM Feed shall have the following conditions applied:

a. Finalized actions whose "Product or Service Code" starts with an Alpha.

b. Finalized actions whose "Recovered Material Clauses" is one of the following values:

 i. Bio-based
 ii. FAR 52.223-4 & bio-based
 iii. FAR 52.223-4 & bio-based & energy efficient
 iv. FAR 52.223-4 & bio-based & environmentally preferable
  v. FAR 52.223-4 & bio-based & energy efficient & environmentally preferable

c. Finalized base actions that satisfy the "Base Date Signed" condition, and the respective modification documents.

4. The DoD unrevealed data shall not be retrieved by this feed; only the Public data shall be retrieved.
