RTWS Validation Rules Revision |
The FPDS application shall be updated to allow 'EO: Radical Transparency About Wasteful Spending' (value ‘RTWS’) to be selected for the "Initiative" data element (6SI) on modifications with a “Date Signed” on or after January 20, 2025, with additional “Reason for Modification" values. This will allow additional classes of contract actions to be captured as part of the Administration’s efforts whenever a decision not to execute further contracts has been made.

- Legal Contract Cancellation
- Change Order (added)
- Close Out (added)
- Other Administrative Action (added)
FPDS Validation Rule 6SI04 message shall be updated to read:
- The value “EO: Radical Transparency About Wasteful Spending” can only be selected when the “Reason for Modification” is: “Terminate for Default,” “Terminate for Convenience,” “Terminate for Cause,” “Legal Contract Cancellation,” ”Change Order,” “Close Out” or “Other Administrative Action.”
