FPDS-NG now includes enhanced reporting capability!

FPDS-NG has incorporated many features requested by our reports users. The Business Objects reports have been replaced with Informatica reports. The new Informatica reports have many enhanced features including:

  • Government wide reports
  • Enhanced search criteria screens to run reports by:
    • Department
    • Agency
    • Organization Code
    • Region
    • Contracting office
  • Drill down into the report details at multiple levels
  • View the award details
  • Create graphs
  • Export report details to Excel, CSV, PDF and HTML formats.

The Business Objects reports have been retired and we have provided an improved report portal to expedite the use of the reports. We have created a crosswalk document that lists the new Informatica reports and the corresponding Business Objects reports that were replaced.

The crosswalk document is located at URL:

New, enhanced portal for FPDS-NG reports!

GCE is excited to introduce the new, enhanced portal for FPDS-NG reports!  After much public input, we have made navigating FPDS-NG easier by taking the mystery out of procurement information. Reports are now categorized into simpler terms, based on how users typically look for information.

User can now find reports based on a Who/What/Where/When/How breakdown:

WHO - Who is winning government contracts by vendor name or type?

WHAT - What types of products and services the government has been buying?

WHEN - When were the procurements made?

WHERE - Where is the government spending its money, both in the US and abroad?

HOW - How did the government make the award (small business, type of competition, purchase card, etc.)? How is the government meeting its statutory goals?

Additionally, FPDS-NG will now exclusively feature Informatica reports that offer both the ability to search federal-wide data and also drill-down into the results to further refine the report.

The goal of FPDS-NG is to make procurement information transparent and easy to find for every user - from the experienced contracting officer to the curious member of the public.  This upgrade to the reports portal makes it easier for everyone to find the information they're looking for.

We encourage all users to check out the new and enhanced reports portal and send your comments.
